When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

In our cheese shop you will find a carefully selected selection of artisan and raw milk cheeses from the countries with the longest cheese-making tradition.

Our selection focuses on small producers with their own livestock (the so-called "fermiers" cheeses), presented at their optimum ripening point. You will also find complements such as crackers, special jams, French foie gras...

We differentiate ourselves by offering a personalised and advised sale. To do so, we have a team led and trained by Javier García Albarrán, a cheese professional from the French school of IFOPCA with experience in the best Parisian "fromageries".

Discover our Cheese Bar where you can enjoy the speciality of the house, the "Tables de Cheese de lAmélie", accompanied by cheeses best friend, wine.
We also offer the possibility of combining your cheese board with various types of salads, homemade gazpacho, Iberian products, smoked products, toasts of different flavours and desserts prepared by the LAmélie team. Our priority is the quality of the product (we do not work with frozen or pre-cooked products).

One of our main attractions, when the good weather arrives, is our famous terrace, where you can enjoy our gastronomic offer in a privileged environment.

What is the history of your commerce?

"Los quesos de lAmélie" is a project promoted by experts in the world of cheese with the intention of sharing their knowledge and passion for this product, which has been on the market for more than 10 years.

We want to promote the culture of quality cheese and for this we have a very selected offer of artisan cheeses and raw milk cheeses from the countries with the greatest cheese-making tradition.

To achieve this level of excellence we offer only the most special "refined" cheeses from France, Spain, Italy, England, Switzerland and some particularly attractive corners of Europe.

Artisan cheese, unlike industrial cheese, is a seasonal product to be consumed at the right time. By approaching our cheeses with guidance and advice, you will discover new products and new aspects that you were probably unaware of until now, transforming your purchase into a completely different experience. For example: Mont dOr is excellent in winter, goats cheeses are at their best in spring and summer?

Cheese is a product with a magical universe to be discovered, a delicacy that surprises with its special complexity, an age-old luxury that is culture and tradition...

What is your professional experience?

We offer a guided and personalised sale and for this we have staff directed and trained by Javier García Albarrán, a cheese professional from the French school of IFOPCA with experience in the best Parisian "fromageries".

How has covid 19 affected your business?

We have had to close our tasting area in our shop, as well as our terrace, preventing us from serving our customers.

Sales in our shop have been reduced due to the limited capacity established by the state of alarm.

What services and products does your business provide?

Online sale of gift baskets and gift boxes. As well as vouchers to attend guided tastings and tasting menus vouchers to be able to come to our shop and enjoy them either in our small tasting area or on our terrace.
