When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We are an exclusively organic food shop. All our products are certified and many of our suppliers we know personally. We are committed to local production, agriculture and artisan production. Our fruit and vegetables are seasonal and always national, although we try that most of them are from km0, working with farmers from Toledo, Aranjuez, the Sierra de Madrid... We really want to offer a healthy product, but also tasty, close and of unbeatable quality. That is our aim.

What is the history of your commerce?

Every BIO Day is a family story. We are Javier and Agnieszka, a couple, and we have an employee. More than 10 years ago our sons health improved so much with a diet based on organic food that it caught our attention. Gradually the whole family started to eat organic food and at one point we became real experts on where to get the best strawberries, fish, dairy products from a 24-bacca farm.... So naturally the idea arose to transform it into our way of working, offering health and flavour to other people. And here we are!

What is your professional experience?

Our previous experience is on the one hand a management position in a large group in the conventional food industry, and on the other hand a media editorial position, so in short: a complete change!

How has covid 19 affected your business?

It has not affected him.

What services and products does your business provide?

We are an exclusively organic food shop. Fruit, vegetables, dairy products, bread, pastries, meat, fish, EVOO, drinks, cereals... and everything else you need in a good pantry! All our products are certified organic.
