When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We are proud to create handmade jewellery that is not only beautiful, but carries with it stories, emotions and the dedication of each of our hands. Each piece is unique, made with materials such as silver, brass and semi-precious stones, taking care of every detail with passion.

We are proud to be a local workshop in Madrid, where the love for handmade and respect for tradition is reflected in every piece of jewellery we deliver.

What is the history of your commerce?

Our story began in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, where Katy and María Isabel, after studying journalism, decided to follow creative paths: Katy in pastry making and María Isabel in handmade jewellery.

Over time, our passion for handmade goods led us to create Aktual Accesorios, a brand that reflects our roots and our love for unique design.

When we emigrated to Spain, we bonded even more and with effort we opened two workshops in Madrid, fusing the Latin essence with European elegance and betting on quality local craftsmanship.

What is your professional experience?

We both studied and graduated in journalism in Venezuela, but from very early on we were inclined towards more creative and manual paths. María Isabel trained and specialised in handmade jewellery, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary style.

Katy, besides having a background in pastry, also creates handmade pieces with great aesthetic sensibility and a deep love for handmade goods. Today, we share not only the management of our workshops, but also a passion for creation, attention to detail and a close relationship with those who value unique pieces with history.

What services and products does your business provide?

At Aktual we offer handmade artisan jewellery, such as earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces in silver and brass, with semi-precious stones and hand-painted resin details. Each piece is unique, with designs inspired by nature, emotions and symbolism. In addition to our collections, we also carry out repairs and restorations of special pieces that our customers do not want to lose, because of their high sentimental value. We love to give new life to those jewels that hold memories.
