When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

Our growth over the years is the result of a constant commitment to quality, service and building close relationships with our customers.

All our products are shipped directly from our warehouse in León (Spain), enabling us to offer efficient and reliable deliveries throughout Europe, Chile, the United States and Canada.
In addition, we have our own brand, developed to meet the needs of artists, professionals and enthusiasts seeking high-quality products.

Behind every order and every process is a dedicated and specialised team, working to ensure that every experience with our brand is flawless.

What is the history of your commerce?

The origins of what is now Hartem date back to 1983, when the Bellas Artes shop opened in the historic centre of León. Ana and Jose set up an art supplies shop with an exhibition gallery that became a landmark in the city.

With the advent of new technologies, and thanks to the expertise and support of their children, they ventured into the online world in 2011.

After several years of hard work and great effort, the Hartem concept has gradually taken shape, resulting in the team we are today and enabling us to open a physical shop in Madrid in 2023.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

In this case, the Hartem physical store opened after the pandemic had taken hold. However, as regards the other brand in our group, Craftelier (formerly Mi Tienda de Arte), this period presented a widespread challenge for the crafts and fine arts sector, forcing a rapid adaptation to new consumer habits and a different relationship with the public.

In our case, this context acted as a catalyst for opportunities, highlighting the importance of creativity, the time devoted to art, and the need for quality materials for personal and artistic development.

What services and products does your business provide?

Hartem is a brand specialising in fine art products, catering to professional artists as well as students and enthusiasts of artistic creation. Our catalogue features materials carefully selected for their quality, technical performance and reliability, covering various disciplines such as drawing, painting, illustration and mixed media.

From a commercial perspective, Hartem not only provides creative tools but also builds a brand experience centred on art. The organisation of monthly creative events, covering a variety of artistic themes, strengthens the relationship with its community, encourages product testing and positions the brand as an active and innovative leader within the sector.
