What is the history of your commerce?

Hermanos Ortiz is a company with a family tradition created in the mid-seventies, whose motto was "quality above all else".
Despite the difficulties, we remain faithful to the teachings of our father, making all our products in our own factory using traditional methods, thus guaranteeing our customers a product that is always fresh, with all the flavour and qualities of manual frying in a frying pan, using only the best natural ingredients, without adding any type of additive that could spoil its flavour.
We work so that the younger generations can enjoy healthy, wholesome products with all their flavour.
We teach the secrets of good cooking, so that traditional recipes will last and future generations will continue to enjoy their full flavour, tasting healthy and wholesome products. Our goal is that our current and future customers taste only top quality products, treated and handmade for a healthier and exquisite experience on your palate.

What is your professional experience?

When we started in this sector I had no experience whatsoever as I started very young. But with time and dedication we grew. As the owner of the company, I immediately became self-employed.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

We did not have to close down completely because we were a food company.
It affected us negatively in part because our products could not be consumed in the street, but also in many of our shops we were known by many people as it was only possible to buy near our homes.
Our shop is still standing after Covid 19 because we dedicated time to it as we were able to open as it was a food shop and keep renewing our products for quite a long time.

What services and products does your business provide?

Our leading product is potato crisps manufactured in our factory.
Dried fruits and nuts, both fried, roasted and raw.
Legumes of national origin
Olives and pickles
Jelly beans and sweets
