Interview to the commerce

When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

The warm relationship we have with our customers and of course the quality of what we offer them.

Interview to the commerce

What is the history of your commerce?

It was founded by my grandfather as an egg shop in 1904, then it became a greengrocers shop with my father, and it has been running like that until 2007, when I decided to convert it into an organic shop.
It is running very successfully thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication we put into our work. We are in one of the most traditional neighbourhoods of Madrid, where the family and friendly atmosphere among the neighbours is still preserved.

What is your professional experience?

I was raised and grew up in the commercial environment.
I have been running the shop since 1985, the last 13 years as an organic grocer.
I have also worked as an administrative secretary in a film production company for 15 years.
These are very different activities, but I have always put a lot of effort into them and I have worked, and still work, with great pleasure.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

The shop has been open since it is a food business and was very much needed. Both our suppliers and our customers have told us many times that they appreciated the fact that we maintained our daily activity and presence as well as our usual good spirit.
We have observed all the health protection protocol for the premises, the staff and the customers.
