At Bravo we love to be visited, to be asked questions, to be able to tell people that we have tried the products and why we like them; to be able to tell our friends who made the product and why we have chosen it for our shop. We are proud to have been able to preserve the history of our shop, the classic feel of our business and its philosophy of giving the customer the importance he/she deserves, taking advantage of the experience of knowing that we want to continue serving you as we have always done. Beyond a nice packaging, we look for the quality of the product, from our caviar to the aperitif biscuits, the ham or the tuna belly, the olive oil or our wines. Our almost centenary history has allowed us to gather a large collection of old wines and Vega Sicilia.

In 1931 Cruz Bravo embarked on the adventure of opening a butter shop in the Salamanca neighbourhood. From the very first day he believed in quality products and in personal attention and service that continue to be our pillars every morning when Mantequerías Bravo opens its doors. At Bravo you can find Birba Biscuits, Johnnie Walker, Marqués de Riscal or López Heredia and Legumbres Álvarez as they were more than half a century ago, but you will also find gastronomic and oenological novelties that we are constantly introducing.

When you live a family business like this from the cradle, it is easy to become emotionally attached to such an important part of the history of your family name, and it is inevitable to learn what books do not teach just by witnessing the work of your parents.
Since I was a teenager, I have been linked to this business, and after exploring other companies, I decided to continue the legacy of two generations and a passion that engages more and more people, gastronomy and the infinite universe of wine.
Consumer trends have changed, but we are one of the few lucky ones in this difficult process.
We have expanded our customer base by being efficient in home delivery when it was blocked in the large supermarkets; we have remained close to our customers, we have had to work longer hours on the phone to be able to offer the information our customers requested and to attend to them when necessary. But as I say, our sector has worked tirelessly since the beginning of COVID.
Extra quality gastronomic products from the best houses, but also little-known products from small producers who make stews, cheeks, pâtés or chocolates on a small scale; the ham is 100% acorn-fed Iberian and the salami, from Vic; the foie gras, from the best French houses, and our panettone at Christmas are always Italian. We carefully select our preserves, checking their quality from time to time. Products with designation of origin, crackers, biscuits and breads, Spanish, Iranian, French caviar... homemade jams, bulk coffee that we roast ourselves and a wide selection of products made with truffles, cheeses, fresh and dry pasta...
A wide selection of wines from all over the world; good value wines from small producers, but also the Great French Wines and special bottle formats up to 27 litres for events and private wineries.
We design gifts for each customer; home delivery of gifts or your purchase in Spain and Europe. Deliveries to countries outside the EU.
