Interview to the commerce

When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

Our vocation is not only intrinsically linked to the manufacture of jewelry in our workshop at Calle de Serrano 81. Customer service, the excitement of our customers when they receive their jewelry, and the reviews they leave us on GOOGLE MY BUSINESS are our hallmarks.
Our beginnings are family-based, dating back to the 1970s, and we are now the third generation. From the first and second generations, we learned to do things professionally and with love for our work. That is how Jorge Juan Joyeros was born.

What is the history of your commerce?

In the 1970s, our parents and grandparents were involved in the wholesale trade of precious stones. They traveled to Colombia for emeralds and to Thailand for rubies and sapphires. Our generation decided to open two stores in the center of Madrid, focusing on customer service and offering our clients high-quality products.

What is your professional experience?

Very positive. Like all businesses, there are good times and not-so-good times, but our customers continued to trust us during the crisis and our turnover did not decline as it did in other businesses.
As for the experience, it has been very positive and we are very happy to have followed in the footsteps of our predecessors.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

Fortunately, COVID was a great opportunity for us. We spent the months we were locked down organizing things and focusing on designing the website to reflect our personality.
Once COVID was over (when we were allowed to leave the house), we had queues at both jewelry stores for two months. So yes, it did affect us, but we learned that problems are opportunities for growth.

What services and products does your business provide?

Engagement rings, jewelry with diamonds and precious stones, wedding bands, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and loose certified diamonds. Another approach has been to involve the customer in the creation of their wedding bands with our help. Repair, design, and creation are other aspects that define our vocation.
