When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

After so many years working in the Herbolario (since 1974) I am still very excited and happy to be able to continue advising, guiding and helping people in need.

What is the history of your commerce?

Founded in 1974 in response to a concern and a need for change.
A family business aimed at raising awareness and informing about healthy eating. My father was its founder and pioneer in his time, he created the Association of Herbalists of Madrid and a School to study everything related to Natural Health, we studied Naturopathy,
Bach Flowers, Massages...and a series of courses focused on acquiring more knowledge about how to recover and maintain the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual Balance...Yoga, Meditation, Vegetarian Cooking, Astrology....
And today, after 47 years, we are still here,
with the same illusion but with more knowledge, more experience and the same purpose... to be able to advise, counsel and help people who need it.

What is your professional experience?

I studied Occupational Therapy, I worked with mentally ill people, children with cerebral palsy, autistic people, work accidents, paraplegics....
Then I was diagnosed with a rare disease and was hospitalised for 7 months.
We opened the Herbalists and soon came the School of Herbodietetics and then followed Naturopathy, Massages, Bach Flowers, Astrology, Yoga?
in short, courses related to physical, emotional and mental balance.
And I love what I do...

How has covid 19 affected your business?

Well, unfortunately, as with most businesses, sales dropped a lot at the beginning because of the uncertainty and fear, people hardly went out on the street unless they had to.
But luckily we did not have to close the Herbolario and we stayed afloat.
Now the situation is a little better and little by little I suppose it will return to normal.
