When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

At Ski Market you can find unique items, the latest in technical clothing and accessories, ski, snowboard and eBike equipment tested and personally selected by our team, the latest market trends and the most advanced products. You will also discover one of the most advanced ski and snowboard workshops in Spain, a renowned and exclusive workshop for boot fitting and customisation, insoles and foot studies and the best technology applied to snow sports.
But what we are most proud of is our history, our team and our customers. We are a close-knit group and we enjoy working together. Our sports are our main motivation and we always try to share that excitement with our customers and friends. Ski Market is our open house where a good conversation about skiing, snowboarding or eBike is always welcome.

What is the history of your commerce?

In October 1995, two friends and ski enthusiasts opened our first small shop in Príncipe de Vergara street in Madrid. Since then we have been evolving towards a new, bigger and more unified concept, and we currently offer all our services in a new shop in Las Rozas, with more than 700m2 of exhibition space spread over three floors, a 100m2 boot and boot fitting area, a Wintersteiger numerical control workshop, a ski section, a floor for clothing, a snowboard shop, a new eBike shop and workshop, an outlet with incredible opportunities on the 3rd floor... in short, a whole world around skiing, snowboarding and e-Mountain Bike.
Since our birth a long time has passed, in which we have always tried to adapt to the changes and demands of the market. Today we are three friends running the business and enjoying our work as much as the first day. For us, working in Ski Market is like being in a toy shop for a child; we enjoy being surrounded by what we like and we try to make you enjoy every visit to our shop.

What is your professional experience?

When we finished our university studies we decided to dedicate ourselves body and soul to setting up Ski Market. We had been running a ski school for years and we liked the idea of continuing to work linked to the world of snow and sport with our own project. We are very proud of 25 years of work in Ski Market.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

Covid-19 has dealt us a hard blow. The mandatory closure during the state of alarm caused us to miss the end of the snow season. The eBike sales have helped a lot during the summer and we hope to recover some of our normal activity with the new snow season.
