When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We are farmers, sons and grandsons of farmers from Extremadura, we have an orchard in Villa del Prado where we grow an interesting variety of fruits, vegetables, legumes and... eggs...
The family grows and the farmer is not helped, that is why we opened our shop in Madrid, so that our son could have a future while he studies, we have an open door to the consumer and you have access to a very interesting product, directly from the hands of those who grow it.
We also offer Km 0 products, as well as an interesting variety of organic products.

What is the history of your commerce?

We opened a small shop in Aluche, 7 years ago, to support our daughters studies.
It was a small and cosy shop, at the end of the street, where we put our vegetables and our illusion, it seemed very big at the beginning... At the request of the customers who came in little by little, we expanded our range of products, at the beginning with other producers, wines, honey... Then rice, pasta and a wide variety of products, some of which we didnt even know existed, the shop that seemed huge before, ended up being too small...
We were very well received in the neighbourhood...
Two years later, there was a vacant shop in the same street, bigger, closer to the metro and the bus, busier... We moved...
And here we are, five years after the move, looking forward to continue offering you our wonderful products and enjoying your company...

How has covid 19 affected your business?

COVID 19, like a large number of businesses in our country, has been quite disastrous for us, people concentrate on the large supermarkets and forget about the little ones.
It is a pity, a large supermarket will never offer the close and personalised treatment that a neighbourhood shop offers, nor the security protocol before the COVID that the little ones take so much care of.
