What is the history of your commerce?

"This company was founded by my grandfather with a small shop in Madrids Calle Pelayo in 1942. He was always tinkering with light bulbs and it began to grow little by little. My fathers arrival was a turning point. He understood the possibilities that light could have, modifying spaces and dimensions, and he began to travel to European trade fairs to see first-hand what was new in the sector, bringing to Spain unique lamps that nobody else had and new techniques. That is how we began to differentiate ourselves.
-Raquel Oliva, Vice President of OLIVA ILUMINACION, and granddaughter of the founder.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

"It is a family business that has its advantages and disadvantages, like so many others, but in our case there are more things that unite us than separate us. We have a very rigorous protocol of action that defines the functions of each of us and in recent times we have worked together to survive the crisis. Undoubtedly, these experiences have made us stronger, reinventing ourselves".
-Raquel Oliva, Vice President of OLIVA ILUMINACION.
