In Plaza de la Paja, 6, a small gate -which can go unnoticed- gives access to one of the most secluded gardens in the centre of Madrid: the Príncipe de Anglona. It was created around 1750 but the current design is by Javier de Winthuysen in 1920. In 2002 it was restored by Lucía Serredi. It is barely 800 square metres in size, but it is perfect for a few minutes rest. You wont believe you are in the heart of the city. Access is free during the opening hours for parks and gardens.
