Cuesta de los Ciegos

A magnificent walk that descends from Las Vistillas (Plaza de la Morería) to the foot of the Viaduct. Tradition has it that in this spot San Francisco performed the miracle of restoring the sight of two blind men who were begging there, hence the name. The staircase runs through the meadow of the slope. At the foot of Segovia Street is the fountain installed by the government of the Second Republic in 1932. Because of its steep slope... it is necessary to get some strength before climbing this staircase, although there are benches on the landings.
