When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

Silk is a celebration of contemporary graphic art under the construction of its own imaginary. The materialisation of digital works as a manifesto of the current trend that, precisely, does not come from traditional artistic codes. In this sense, we conceive this space as the crystallisation of a changing and expansive art. We explore this hybrid and, therefore, infinite genre, making visible the artists and works we love.

What is the history of your commerce?

We started in September 2020 with the intention of generating a space for the promotion of contemporary graphic art.

What is your professional experience?

I come from the field of design and I see this project as a continuity. Silk Gallery unites design and art, universes that I love.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

Unfortunately the COVID 19 situation delayed the opening for 5 months as it triggered delays in all the logistics to set up the project.

What services and products does your business provide?

Silk Gallery focuses mainly on the exhibition and trade of graphic works and art reproductions. From this place, we are interested in the promotion and diffusion of contemporary graphic artists.
