From our regular customers. All those people who have embraced our way of understanding a business, and who year after year continue to come and enjoy the product we offer.
We are also very proud of the team we have created over time, of great professionals, who have understood the family character of Despacio and the proximity to the customer.

This business was forged in 2007 from the idea of a mother, a father and their three children, to create a joint project that brought together the common aspects and interests of each of the members; thus, interior design, architecture, graphic design, decoration, recycling, industrial design, stationery and many other fields, came together to create Despacio Concept Store, which as its name suggests offers a slow and quiet experience, where you can find numerous examples of people who are doing things differently, without haste, with responsible processes and without great economic ambitions.
We are merely selectors of products and trends with a minimum common denominator, good design.

Our family has close ties to the art world. We have architects, graphic designers, illustrators, and managers who from time to time put our feet on the ground.
Well, it has affected us very seriously, given that we are already a few employees and we pay rent in the centre of Madrid.
We have managed to stay on our feet because we had had a very good year and the illusion has forced us to make every effort to hold on.
The comeback is going to be tough as practically half of our business comes from international tourism.
In this space where time seems to stand still, you can find recycled products from Freitag, a Swiss brand that reuses truck tarpaulins to make backpacks, bags and wallets; You can also find a multitude of small national projects in jewellery, footwear, household goods, home or fashion (such as Julieta Álvarez, Doiy, Alvaro Catalán de Ocón, Thinking Mu or LoreakMendian) or precious projects such as Veja, which manufactures footwear in Brazil, reactivating towns and villages in a responsible way, with natural raw materials from the area, and which in France is already distributing to people at risk of social exclusion, ex-convicts, etc. .
