When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

How we treat our customers and the quality of our product, both in terms of customized tableware and our teaching.

What is the history of your commerce?

We started painting on porcelain by "chance", in Japan more than 30 years ago and we have never stopped since. When we arrived in Madrid in 2006 we opened our first workshop in Spain, in Huertas street, without knowing much about the business but trusting that we would like it. Four years later we opened in Justiniano to be closer to our customers and grow the shop.  Since then we haven t stopped growing. Our latest addition is the ceramics workshops where we teach how to make the pieces from scratch and then decorate them.

What is your professional experience?

I worked in advertising for 4 years and realised that I wanted to dedicate myself to something small and creative.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

I had to close during the confinement. In June 2020 we were able to open and everything has continued to work quite well. Negotiating the rent helped us and also the fact that teaching is something that feels good and our students came back as soon as they could.
