Interview to the commerce

When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

Our workshop was opened 23 years ago for the love of books, a source of pride and a true passion.

Working in an artistic profession means that the dedication to each client and student is close and delicate.

What is the history of your commerce?

We started in 1998 in a beautiful flat, a professional building near the Gran Vía in Madrid.

It has been 15 years since we came to this premises at Calvo Asensio 8 in the Argüelles neighbourhood, which has given us so much and so well.

Little by little we have been creating a very special professional space. A long and exciting journey until today.

What is your professional experience?

I have been a bookbinder and restorer since the beginning.

I created my business and became self-employed for the freedom that working for oneself gives, for the experience that comes with every professional decision that has to be made.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

During the three months of the confinement, our workshop was forced to close. It was very hard, but by working and reinventing ourselves in the year and a half that followed, we managed to revive the business.

Our students and most loyal customers responded very well and thanks to them, the brave ones, we were able to continue.

What services and products does your business provide?

We teach bookbinding and book restoration with a lot of love.

We bind and restore books for companies and individuals.

Always with exclusive dedication. Each book has a different need.
