When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We wanted people to be able to have within their reach a local shop as it was in the past, with a close and friendly service but adapted to current needs, and we believe that we are achieving this.

What is the history of your commerce?

Granel de la Villa is a concept born many years ago from the dream of believing that a different way of consuming is possible, with less plastic waste, with products of proximity and betting on small producers who take care of the raw material and its production. Together with a concept of a nearby shop, collaborative with the neighbourhood in which you can trust and enjoy a wide selection of products.
All this and the affection with which Granel de la Villa has been created is what you breathe when you walk through the door. We hope you get as excited as we do.

What is your professional experience?

I am a Nursing Technician and a specialist in Dietetics and Nutrition. After many years working in a hospital and being on the front line of the COVID19 pandemic, I thought it was time to reinvent myself and start new projects.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

The shop opened in October 2021.

What services and products does your business provide?

In food (spices, pulses, flours, coffees, dried fruits, dehydrated fruits or more exclusive things like different salts, superfoods, xanthan gum, starches etc...) as well as household products that respect the environment and health in general, personal hygiene products, plastic and toxic free household items etc... A variety of more than 800 references that helps to fill the shopping basket in a more sustainable, healthy and economical way, of very high quality at a good price and served in bulk so that you can take what you need and thus reduce food waste.
