Interview to the commerce

When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

It gives us great satisfaction to be able to bring the Authors Photography to a public that values art. Through our photographs they can personalise and make their homes more welcoming. It is a new concept of Gallery in which the creator of all the photographs, Javier Aranburu, is also the owner. Visitors to the gallery can usually find Javier, establishing a direct communication between the client and the author of the work.

What is the history of your commerce?

Javier Aranburu opened the Galería de Fotografía in 2011 in Madrids Chamberí neighbourhood. Since then we have been selling original, limited-edition photographs by photographers.

Traditionally, art and photography galleries sold their works to an elitist public at high prices.

Javier, betting on creative freedom and seeing this panorama, wanted to introduce a new model with an approach where his photographs are offered to the end customer, without intermediaries or franchises and with affordable prices.
