When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We are very proud to be able to offer a different experience, we dont just offer a haircut, we offer a place to relax, listen to good music, have a coffee, a beer or a shot of Bourbon while you get your hair cut or relax while you get your beard done in a barbershop like the ones in the old days.

What is the history of your commerce?

El Rincón de Pepe was born in the famous barbershop Malayerba for the first time, where Pepe opened his stall as El Rincón de Pepe where he always tried to offer excellence with a good treatment and sense of humour! Later the barber and founder of El Rincón de Pepe went to work in Rotterdam (Holland) at the famous NewYork Barbershop, considered the best barbershop in Europe and from all this experience came the name and concept of El Rincón de Pepe which was born on the 18th of May of this year.

What is your professional experience?

More than 21 years of experience in the best national and international barbershops such as Malayerba or New York Barbershop in Rotterdam (Netherlands) always trying to bring the best of each place. He studied at the Association of Barbershops of Madrid in Arriaza Street where he learned everything about the classic cut and shave for men. In the end, wanting to do things your own way and being able to develop all my experience is what made me decide to open my own business.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

As we opened in May this year it has really only affected us in terms of being much more careful about hygienic measures, always cleaning the workstation after each service with alcohol and using disposable cloaks, although we will keep many of these measures in place permanently.

What services and products does your business provide?

Classic haircut, beard grooming and classic shave both with hot and cold towel ritual and Lis best products for hair fixation and beard maintenance, we work with the best brands such as Corleone, Uppercut, MrBeard or Pinaud.
