When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We have been open since 1971. This year we are 50 years old and we have customers who have been with us since the beginning.

50 years doing the same thing: selecting the best fruit and vegetables every day to make our friends/customers happy.

What is the history of your commerce?

The fruit shop was opened by Mateo and Miguel in 1971. They came from a village in Guadalajara a few years earlier and in 1971 they decided to open this business which has been their life and that of their wives Delfi and Nana.

Today the greengrocers is run by their sons Javier and Miguel and with a great team that works with them on a daily basis.

What is your professional experience?

In my case I have been a cyclist, graduated in law and politics, MBA in management of sports entities by the UEM-Real Madrid, owner of Retrocycle Cc and Sporty Telling. To date, I am also managing and directing the greengrocers shop.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

In our case, it helped us to digitise and improve our processes so that we could grow and serve more customers.

What services and products does your business provide?

Fruit and vegetables mainly. Fresh and local produce. We serve customers who come to see us at the greengrocers, we deliver to homes and we serve cafeterias and restaurants as well as groups (schools, residences, offices...).
