When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We are proud to be able to carve a niche for ourselves in such a competitive sector. We firmly believe in the product we work with, away from mass marketing and foreign brands. Offering a high quality alternative with truly unique pieces and with the possibility of offering the customer complete customisation of each piece.

What is the history of your commerce?

Our signature includes a date 1914 which has a very important meaning for us. It is the date of the oldest surviving plan of our great-grandfather, who started the cabinetmaking business. Since then, four generations have passed and the designs and styles have changed considerably. Even so, we still maintain the essence of solid furniture and national wood. The fourth generation, to which we belong, has focused on unique pieces, especially tables. Tables made from hundred-year-old trees, made from a single piece and representing nature in its purest state.

What is your professional experience?

I grew up and always lived in an environment that revolved around our factory. Weekends and summers working in the family business were a pleasure. At the same time I graduated from CAFAD where I met my now wife. Together after graduating we opened our own personal training centre which was a great success. We spent 10 years dedicated exclusively to that, but we felt we needed a change and together with the possibility of giving a twist to the family business we embarked on what is now Summum1914.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

For us it was quite hard, as we just moved to the Castelló 26 shop in February 2020, so we almost could not even open. After months of being closed and only being able to open with restrictions, we still do not have an idea of the new location.

What services and products does your business provide?

Our main product is large format tables. In addition to this, we manufacture made-to-measure furniture for projects and contract. We have a large stock in almost any wood in the world, being recognised specialists in Spanish walnut. The customer can configure the product 100%.
