When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

From being the first physical shop dedicated exclusively to whisky in Spain to being the first physical shop dedicated exclusively to whisky in Spain.

What is the history of your commerce?

The result of an individual undertaking, long dreamed of and that finally, at a time when the necessary conditions and resources were available, I dared to carry out. We all, or almost all of us, fantasise at some point about setting up our own project... I finally took the plunge.

What is your professional experience?

Surprisingly, nothing to do with whisky or retailing. I have a legal background and a long business work experience. However, when I embarked on this adventure, I travelled to Scotland to obtain a couple of diplomas at the Edinburgh Whisky Academy (https://www.edinburghwhiskyacademy.com/) to train properly for this new career.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

By opening in the middle of the pandemic (September 2020) we have not experienced "normality". I think that on the one hand the limitations of the hospitality industry may favour a business like this (domestic consumption vs. in a bar/restaurant) but on the other hand family gatherings, celebrations, birthdays, etc... are lost.
