When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

We are very happy to be able to make fashion collections and accessories produced in Spain with rhythm and respect. We have been with the brand for many years and with this shop proposal in which we bring together things we like from other brands that also produce in Spain with sustainability criteria. There is a very careful selection of ceramics, jewellery and a variety of products.
We are proud to be able to offer a local and foreign public well-made and beautiful products.

What is the history of your commerce?

peSeta was born at the beginning of the century as a fashion and accessories brand. Our first shop-workshop was in Noviciado street and the current shop in Huertas street (Barrio de las Letras) was opened in 2016. In addition to our collections, we collaborate with other brands and institutions (Marc Jacobs, New Museum of New York, Primavera Sound, Madrid City Council, Berlinale, Mahou, etc). We are a feminine, egalitarian, conciliatory and hedonistic brand.

What is your professional experience?

I studied advertising, but I set up peSeta very early on and focused on branding.

How has covid 19 affected your business?

Having the shop closed clearly affected us, both in terms of numbers and in terms of not being able to keep in touch with our customers, which we love. We had to promote online sales and other forms of communication. On the other hand, we made two tutorials to teach how to make masks, but we were asked to sell our own and we started marketing them very quickly. This caused an avalanche of orders that we had to manage as best we could, looking for more workshops, preparing them with the relevant safety measures, etc.

What services and products does your business provide?

Vestidos de patrón respetuoso y favorecedor con estampados diseñados por nosotras o por gente talentosa con la que colaboramos, camisas unisex, bolsos de piel vegana muy versátiles, mascarillas super cómodas, calcetines diseñados por artistas españoles, etc. Eso en cuanto a nuestros productos. De otras marcas tenemos cerámica maravillosa y creativa, joyas fabulosas hipoalérgicas, ilustraciones y collages, etc.
