When you think about your business, what are you most proud of?

What we like the most about this project are 3 things:

1. The customer can enjoy the whole process live because the jewellery workshop is in the same shop and in public view.
2. We make personalised jewellery. In addition to collections and limited edition pieces, we make jewellery to order, unique pieces designed exclusively for the client.
3. We combine handcrafted jewellery with new technologies, fusing tradition and innovation.

What is the history of your commerce?

We are a married couple who decided to open this project less than 2 years ago. Tired of our old professions and way of life, we decided to make a radical change in our lives, become entrepreneurs and dedicate ourselves fully to our passion, handmade jewellery. We knew it was a very risky decision, especially at our age (57 years old Ariel and 40 Rocío), but we felt it was the moment, the last chance, to do it and we got fully involved in it. We looked for premises in the Barrio de las Letras, our favourite place in Madrid, an area of the capital where craftsmanship and local commerce are valued. The essential requirement was that there had to be space to set up the shop and the workshop, so that everyone who comes to see our jewellery, as well as buying a piece, can see how the jewellery work is done.

What is your professional experience?

Our CEO and founder, Ariel, is a passionate entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in art, design and communication. His strong background in Fine Arts and Communication, combined with an extensive background in fields such as advertising, graphic design, photography and jewellery, has prepared him to lead La Sánchez.

His vision of creating unique signature jewellery that fuses craftsmanship with technology is at the heart of our project. Ariel strives to convey authenticity and uniqueness in each creation.

What services and products does your business provide?

Handmade jewellery in silver and gold, our own designs and exclusive pieces.
Rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, cufflinks, brooches, pins, key rings, pins, hair clips, commemorative plaques, etc...
We make collections, unique pieces and jewellery to order such as wedding rings, gifts for anniversaries, corporate gifts, awards, anniversary gifts, births, marriages, etc...
In addition to the piece made, we offer a complete experience in the workshop, participating in the process of creating the jewellery and documenting each step of the making process so that the customer can also take home a souvenir in photos or videos.
